Air Canada reports $1.02b loss

Air Canada has slashed its flight schedule by more than 90% and grounded more than 200 aircraft, cutting service internationally to just five airports. That and widespread layoffs hasn't helped as the airline has reported a $ 1.02b loss for Q1.

Passenger revenue dropped by $604m and the company burned $22m per day in March. It said it has "no revenue coming in other than cargo."
